Das Transatlantische Frauenforum will die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Deutschland, Europa und USA stärken. Die Sichtbarkeit von Frauen und ihre Vernetzung sowie die Förderung von Diversität in den Bereichen Wirtschaft, Politik, Wissenschaft und Kultur ist Ziel der Arbeit von TFF. Das Forum bietet eine Plattform für offenen Dialog, unterschiedliche Perspektiven und Diskussionen. Dies geschieht durch Veranstaltungen, Forschungsprojekte, Symposien und Arbeitskreise im Deutsch-Amerikanischen Dialog. Weitere Inhalte erhält das Forum auch durch digitale Konferenzen und Coachingprogramme. Die Mitglieder des Forums bereichern mit ihrer Expertise die transatlantische Zusammenarbeit von internationalen Frauen in verschiedenen Lebensbereichen.

Andrea ist Dozentin und Coach an verschiedenen Universitäten. 10 Jahre lang war sie Geschäftsführerin des politischen Think Tanks Innovativkreis NRW liberal und Direktorin des Amerika Haus NRW. Als Autorin des Buches „Die Zukunft wartet auf Sie“ setzt sie sich für die Förderung von Diversität in Wirtschaft und Politik auf transatlantischer Ebene ein. Durch ihren vierjährigen Auslandsaufenthalt in Südafrika und ihre berufliche Tätigkeit in Japan verfügt sie über Erfahrungen im internationalen Austausch. Durch ihre langjährige Erfahrung als Gastdozentin in den USA, ihre Arbeit im Amerika Haus und ihre Mitgliedschaft im American International Woman’s Club ist es ihre persönliche Aufgabe, Frauen in ihrer beruflichen Entwicklung und Sichtbarkeit zu unterstützen. Ihre Ziele sind der Austausch und die Intensivierung der transatlantischen Beziehungen sowie die Entwicklung von Gemeinsamkeiten und die Stärkung demokratischer Ideen.

There are many platforms that invite women to network. There, too, the focus is on science, business, education, careers and culture. But one has to search for female networks that explicitly focus on international cooperation and exchange between Europe and the USA.
The TFF can change that. Right now, with the new political beginning in the USA, we have the chance to support new developments. I bring more than 40 years of
international experience to the TFF and would like to share it with others. I also look forward to inspiration and new perspectives.
